Requite: Design Internship
Requite is an upcoming start-up focusing on simplifying gratuity and bridging the gap between excellent service and well-deserved rewards. As the designer on this project, I was asked to design three main deliverables: a brochure to explain the product which could be given out, a flyer for users utilizing their phone as a method to tip and a lanyard design for an on-the-go product utilizing Square. Additionally, I was asked to come up with and present multiple logo ideas, one of which ended up becoming the official logo! This project taught me so much about branding and creating a visual identity.

Developing an Identity
I was tasked with developing a logo and wordmark for Requite that demonstrated the features and messaging behind the product. I went through various iterations, exploring typefaces and imagery that could depict what Requite does. I landed on a typeface that was bold and steady, with a few manual adjustments to depict a company that is reliable and essential.
Expressing the Features of a Product
To express the features of Requite and the needs that it fulfills, I created illustrations to be used in a variety of marketing collateral.
Marketing Collateral
With the assets I developed, I designed collateral such as brochures and business cards to be utilized for marketing purposes. I kept the layout simple and straightforward to convey the information in a direct manner and included illusrations where they would enhance the messaging.
